WHAT IS COLD-PRESSED JUICE?

Cold-pressed juice is made when fresh fruit and vegetables are gently pressed to extract the most nectar from their pulp and fibre. The result is delicious, raw, fresh juice filled with vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that can store for up to 72 hours.

WHAT IS HPP AND WHY IS IT A NO-NO AT THE GOOD PRESS?

High Pressure Processing is when intense pressure is applied to a tank of packaged products. This process is said to kill pathogens and extend shelf life. While there are claims that it does little to disrupt the fresh, natural, nutritional characteristics of raw juice, we are against the process on a philosophical level. Having something processed so that it can sit on a shelf for longer defeats the purpose of FRESH juice. We at The Good Press use no HPP because we want our juice to be enjoyed at its best: pure, fresh AND ALIVE.

WHAT IS A JUICE CLEANSE?

A juice cleanse is a detoxifying fasting method where nutrition is gained from fruit and vegetable juices. A cleanse usually includes abstaining from food for a certain amount of time. Cleanses at The Good Press aren't just weight-loss cleanses. When undertaken responsibly our juices can play a major role in professional excellence, maintaining your health, or even recovering from those nights out on the town.
